Welcome to the Alliance of Dominican American Visual Artists, Inc, Website!

Initiated in 2004, the Alliance of Dominican American Visual Artists (ADAVA) is dedicated to enhance the general public’s understanding, interest and appreciation of the arts produced by local artists of all ethnicities or cultural backgrounds, predominantly from the Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods of New York City. We also provide the local artists with technical support, venues for exhibits, assistance with organizing exhibits and opportunities to have their work exposed to the public at large. It is our commitment to the artists, their families and communities that drives our vision and belief. If we could help to better the lives of our artists, it will motivate change in their families and help to improve the quality of life of Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods. Thank you for taking a minute to explore our website. I hope you find many ways to support the organization.
